How to Request Account Deletion:
If you wish to delete your account, follow these simple steps:
- Send an Email:
- From the email address you used to log in to Press It, send an email to [email protected].
- Write “cancel” in the subject line.
- Alternative Email Address:
- If you are emailing from a different address, include your login email in the body of the email.
- Confirmation:
- Your account will be canceled within 1-2 business days.
- You will receive an email confirming the deletion of your account.
Data Deletion and Retention:
When you request the deletion of your account, here is what happens to your data:
- Deleted Data:
- Personal Information: Your personal information, including your name, email address, and any other personal details provided during registration, will be permanently deleted.
- Messages and Conversations: All messages, conversations, and associated data will be permanently deleted from our servers.
- Personas: All created personas and any related customization data will be permanently deleted.
- Retained Data:
- Transactional Data: We may retain certain transactional data (e.g., payment history) for legal, regulatory, and accounting purposes.
- Anonymized Data: Any data that has been anonymized (e.g., for analytical purposes) will not be deleted as it cannot be traced back to your account.
Additional Retention Period:
- In some cases, certain data may be retained for a short period to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes. This data will be securely stored and protected during this retention period.
